I went to acollegebasketball game this weekend, and when the National Anthem was played 75% of the people didnt even bother to put their hands over their hearts. The whole scene just infuriated me, of how people take for granite the freedomes they have, and the time to honor that they act as if they're encumberd by the whole thing. What happend to patriotism?

That's really sad. Especially knowing that my husband leaves me and he misses his son grow up to go on deployment and fight for their freedom. That is really discouraging. I resent it

Sore subject for this Veteran.The total disrespect for our country is out of controll.
Maybe they are mourning the freedom and rights that have been taken away from them since the Bush administration came to power and are unhappy about the bad things that have been done in the name of their country in recent years.
To be honest, the U.S.A. today is something not to be as proud of as the U.S.A. eight years ago.
because they dont realize what great country they are in, i didnt either till i went to mexico i learned real fast how lucky i am, when i came back to america i almost kissed the ground
That is really sad, I served our country for eight years. Unfortunately it is their right to be that way, regardless of the fact that they have forgotten that it is a privilege to live here.
