You can play both...Julius Peppers, D-Line for Carolina Panthers played Football and Basketball at North Carolina. There are a lot of players that do it but most of them you don't know about because they are not GREAT at either sport...they are just GOOD ATHLETES! Another one that comes to mind is the Heisman Trophy winner at Florida State, Charlie Ward, was the QB on the Seminoles Football Team and was also the Point Gaurd who went on to have a 14 year career in the NBA! It can be done!

It's not a problem. You just report to the basketball team after New Years. North Carolina's Julius Peppers did this prior to getting drafted by Carolina. The big issue is if you project as a high draft pick, you're at the draft combine, pro workouts, etc., and can't commit to basketball in your senior season.
yes it's possible but it's kinda busy for him at the same time when I was a kid I always thinking about that what he's doing right now play so many sport at the same time I wish I can do that play football, soccer, Baskeball, and do Rap music. Wow
Yes at a small school or a school who's team is not that great. If you are at a school where sports are not a big deal, or the sport is not in high demand for perfection in players it is worked just like high school because you are not in practice all of themtime for that one sport, you get a break.
